For SS18 collection Berluti's Creative Director Haider Ackermann draws the inspiration for his arty colour palette from the work of American-German photographer Erwin Blumenfeld. To highlight the colors & details of the collection we wanted a graphic setting where the sky was our main backdrop.

The iconic basketball court of Venice beach was the ideal location with blue skies, clean concrete walls and graphic palm tree silhouettes. Shot on medium format by LA based photographer Milan Zrnic to give an analog feel to the story. For moving sequences we shot in slowmotion to caputre the beautiful movements of the garments.
